Mathew holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Information Systems from Kaduna State University and a Higher National Diploma in Physics with Electronics from Kaduna Polytechnic. His academic background is complemented by his recent graduation from the McKinsey Forward Learners Academy, where he further honed his skills in design thinking, agile methodologies, and collaborative problem-solving.

In his career, Mathew has served in various impactful roles, including positions with organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Society for Family Health, and Management Sciences for Health. He has played pivotal roles in data collection, research, and analysis, focusing on key issues such as gender-based violence, maternal health, and water resource management. Notably, he led data collection efforts for Livelihoods and Market Assessment studies with UNDP and co-facilitated workshops on GPS and GIS technologies for forestry staff in Kaduna, supported by the World Bank's Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACRESAL) project.

Mathew is also skilled in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), having supervised data quality assessments and community-based advocacy initiatives.
