The Person Centered HIV Research Initiative (PeCHIVReT) was established in 2023 within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Management at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. We are a dedicated research organization committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of HIV, particularly in the context of its comorbidities. Our unique approach centers on the needs, experiences, and perspectives of persons living with HIV, ensuring that our research is both relevant and impactful.

We believe in empowering individuals with knowledge and resources. Our research includes educational initiatives that inform people about HIV prevention, treatment, and their rights, fostering greater autonomy and engagement in their own care.
