Agu Mercy Chisom
InternAgu Mercy Chisom is a recent pharmacy graduate with a passion for research, data analytics, and public health. She is currently an intern with the Person-Centered HIV Research Team, where she applies her analytical skills and research knowledge to support impactful projects in HIV care. During her university years, she became an alumnus of the prestigious Millennium Campus Fellowship, through which she launched Project AAMI (Asthma Awareness and Management Initiative), advocating for improved asthma awareness and education. Her commitment to asthma care continues as a dedicated member and volunteer with the Asthma Awareness and Care Group (AACG). Mercy Agu was an active participant in the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) University of Nigeria Chapter, where she joined the research team to advance evidence-based practices and served in the outreach and logistics team, volunteering for numerous health outreach events. Her journey into data analytics is supported by her involvement with TheData Immersed (TDI) community, where she is honing her skills in analyzing and interpreting data for public health initiatives. She is currently proficient in Excel and SQL, tools she uses to inform her research and contribute to data-driven public health solutions.
