Brief Description
Novel STI and HIV Prevention in Resource-Limited Settings" focuses on innovative strategies to combat STIs and HIV where healthcare resources are scarce. Key approaches include raising community awareness about STIs and HIV to promote safe practices, encouraging behavior change through counseling and peer support, and increasing access to biomedical tools like PrEP, PEP, condoms, and treatment. Additionally, it involves training community health workers to deliver basic services, integrating STI/HIV care with other health services, and using digital solutions such as mobile health and telemedicine to reach remote populations. Policy advocacy is also crucial for promoting better funding and healthcare infrastructure.
