Akinlade Oluwaseyi is an emerging public health researcher with a background in physiology and a specialization in population and reproductive health. Currently in the second year of a master’s program, I have built expertise in various areas of public health research. With years of experience in volunteering and community engagements since completing my degree in Physiology, I am able to bring both depth and interdisciplinary insight into the field of public health.

I am actively involved in public health advocacy and community engagements working on sexual and reproductive health issues, menstrual hygiene and female genital mutilation in rural communities in Oyo State. I am also a passionate health communicator, haven engaged with the public through platforms such as radio and television to advocate for improved hygiene practices and maternal mental health.

I continue to strive to advance knowledge and shape sustainable health interventions that make meaningful difference in Nigeria, Africa and in the whole world, which necessitated my desire to join the Person-Centred HIV Research Team. Whether through rigorous research or public health campaigns, I am committed to being a transformative force in public health.
