Ikenna Oluebube Ogini is a committed public health professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Madonna University Nigeria as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State. 

Currently, Ikenna is the study coordinator for the Intensive Combination Approach to Rollback the Epidemic of HIV in Nigerian Youths (iCARE) project at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital. This clinical trial is funded by the NIH and implemented by Northwestern University in Nigeria.

Ikenna's journey in public health has seen him involved in various high impact projects. He has  worked as a research assistant on the Canada-Africa Mpox Project, engaging communities to assess participation in MPOX vaccine clinical trials. He has also worked on various capacities for the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, Jhpiego, Mercy Corps, IITA, Slum and Rural Health Initiative and the Stand to End Rape Initiative, contributing to research and program implementation.

Ikenna's research has been published in international journals, highlighting his dedication to advancing the field. He is also passionate about community service, having educated many on issues like maternal and child health, substance use, gender violence, and workplace sexual harassment.

With a strong commitment to tackling health challenges in Sub-Saharan African countries like Nigeria, Ikenna leverages his expertise to advocate for sustainable and personalized health solutions. He has a clear vision of creating a healthier future for all through research, education, and active community engagement.
