Nyiri Miriam Gyang
MemberNyiri Miriam Gyang is a dedicated researcher from Africa, specializing in understanding the
complex epidemiology, social impact, and treatment of HIV as it pertains to adolescents
living with HIV. Nyiri Miriam Gyang has spent over 7 years, advancing HIV research and
actively participating in achieving the 1 st and 3 rd UNAID 95-95-95 by 2025, Through HIV
Viral load and EID testing. Nyiri Miriam Gyang has also been involved in research that
addresses both the medical and socioeconomic challenges associated with HIV.
After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Science and a master's in
Public health from the University of Jos and Bingham University and currently undergoing
another master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genomics, Nyiri Miriam Gyang, worked
in collaboration with research organizations, healthcare facilities, and non-profit organization
to influence regional and international HIV/AIDS initiatives.
Passionate about community health, Nyiri Miriam Gyang also engages in outreach and
educational programs, aimed at reducing stigma, promoting testing and preventive care, and
improving access to treatment.
