expertise in Public and Global Health Research, Musa has consistently championed universal health

coverage (UHC) and person-centered care as core principles in his work. He has a proven track record in

designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that strengthen health systems and improve health

outcomes, addressing critical needs in infectious disease control, epidemiology, and health systems

strengthening.


Musa’s career reflects his passion for leveraging data to improve access to quality healthcare services,

ensuring that health interventions are not only effective but also tailored to the unique needs of

individuals and communities. His professional experience spans multiple high-impact roles, where he

has led initiatives for projects funded by USAID, WHO, and Plan International. His work has involved

rigorous field-based monitoring, data quality assessments, and health program evaluations that are

instrumental in driving UHC. Musa’s technical proficiency with tools like Veinsm for decision modelling,

and SPSS, STATA, and ArcGIS further enable him to translate complex data into actionable insights,

contributing to the creation of health programs that prioritize patient needs and accountability.


Beyond his roles in international health projects, Musa’s commitment to person-centered care extends

to his community-focused efforts. As an Immunization Agenda 2030 Ambassador, HPV Vaccine

Awareness Ambassador and Advocacy, R&D Ambassador for Global Liver Insitute, he has actively

engaged in health education and advocacy, empowering communities to make informed health choices.

His research and presentations on topics such as HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, HPV, and emergency

preparedness have also highlighted his dedication to creating a healthcare landscape that centers on

individual well-being.


Musa’s educational foundation begins with a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Medical Virology

and Immunology), with a Master’s in Public Health and currently undergoing another Master of Science

in Global Health and Policy, alongside numerous specialized certifications, shows his dedication to

professional growth and excellence. His skills in advocacy, global health research, advanced data

analytics, and health systems design make him a valuable leader in the global health sector.

His unwavering dedication to UHC and person-centered care positions him as a driving force in shaping

inclusive, resilient healthcare systems that serve everyone, particularly those in resource-limited

settings.

Musa is a member of America Society of Microbiology, Boston Congress of Public Health and Nigeria

Infectious Disease Society among others. Musa believes accelerated research in the field of infectious

diseases especially in the Africa continent will aid in curbing the emergence of emerging and re-

emerging diseases.
