Chimaobi Jude Nwiyi is a Nigerian-licensed pharmacist and plant scientist with a

strong dedication to health equity, particularly in supporting better health

outcomes for underserved communities. His experience as both a community and

clinical pharmacist has given him important insights into the challenges of health

access and the issues behind health disparities. Chimaobi’s research interests

cover a wide range of health equity topics,including medication safety,medication

access, and the role of dietary supplements and plant-based therapies in managing

long-term and infectious diseases.

Through his research, Chimaobi addresses key topics like medication adherence,

the role of pharmacists in patient education, and access to safety information

about medicines in minority groups. He is committed to advancing research that

supports fair access to healthcare, and he actively works on projects aimed at

improving health education and pharmaceutical care, especially for HIV/AIDS

patients and those mostly affected in one way or the other.
