I hold a doctorate (with distinction) in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy management, an MSc (with second class upper division) in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy management, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (best graduating student in: a. department of pharmacology and toxicology; b. department of clinical pharmacy and pharmacy management; c. department of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria. In the last decade, I have designed and delivered learning materials in pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, histology, pathology, and public health for medical and pharmacy students, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I completed my postdoctoral research at the Hull York Medical School, University of Hull, UK.

At the University of Nottingham, I lead the pathology/histopathology teaching for the Graduate-Entry Medicine (GEM) and BSc Medical Physiology and Therapeutics (MPT) programs

My research interest is in public health and global health and I have extensive experience with designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative studies, clinical trials as well as evidence synthesis.
